A poor fitting helmet can compromise it’s effectiveness. By optimising the fit of your helmet you not only improve the comfort, but also the safety and function of the helmet.
That is why each CORTEX CONFORM helmet comes with 4 sets of pads. As the name suggests this helmet is designed to CONFORM perfectly to all head types by mixing and matching the different pad thickness until you find the PERFECT FIT THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU!
FEATURES
4 Sets of CORTEX CONFORM anti-sweat and bacterial pads included: 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm thickness.
Super lightweight inmould shell construction.
A thicker polycarbonate outer shell improves impact protection and assists in dent prevention.
A deep fitting liner that sits low, providing lower coverage protection.
Simple quick release side strap adjustment secured by internal anchors.
HOW TO MEASURE
A good-fitting helmet should be snug but not annoyingly tight. It should sit level on your head (not tilted back) with the front edge one inch or less above your eyebrows so that your forehead is protected.
Push the helmet from side to side and back to front. If it shifts noticeable or you can feel pressure points on your head, you need to adjust the fit by mix and matching the different pad thickness’s until you find the best firm and conformed fit!
MACRO SIZE SELECTION
SMALL, MEDIUM OR LARGE
To find your head circumference wrap a flexible tape measure around the largest portion of your head – about one inch above your eyebrows, or wrap your phone cable around your head, then measure the length of cable with a ruler.
MICRO SIZE SELECTION
3MM, 6MM, 9MM OR 12MM PADS
Once you have determined your general macro size, make the micro adjustments to gain the perfect conformed fit by mix and matching the different pad thickness.

CHANGE YOUR PADS AS YOU GROW!
If you are still growing make sure you hang onto the extra pads so that you can change them out as you grow.
We recommend rechecking the conformity of the helmet every 6 months to ensure you maintain the optimum fit!
